Our food is air dried and is as convenient as kibble. You just pour it to the bowl, add warm water and wait till it’s soaked. No need to freeze and totally safe to handle and nutrient packed as we do not use high cooking temperatures found in extruded kibble.

This statement is to explain that we use 2kg of fresh ingredients to create our final dehydrated recipe weighing 1kg. After rehydration the food will bulk up by a factor of 2-3x (depending on the recipe) as some of our ingredients contain very low levels of moisture, such as seeds.

Simply put, our food is created with high quality ingredients predominantly protein, so gram for gram offers more digestible calories. 

Our food is highly digestible with at least 70% of the protein coming from organic or wild-caught animal sources. On top of this we also have low levels of carbohydrates (<10% when rehydrated) unlike conventional kibble which averages 35-55% as the process needs this amount to make the kibble in the first place. We also have zero starch in our recipes. Whilst dogs can digest some starch, they are not designed physiologically and anatomically to absorb such high levels. Therefore any unused starch is typically deposited as fat which we do not believe is in the best interest of our canine friends. After all, is it that surprising that over 50% of dogs are overweight/obese when 80% of the pet food sold is dry kibble?

We don’t believe in baking the goodness out of our ingredients. Air-drying at a much lower temperature ensures we retain all the vitamins, whilst you maintain the convenience of storing your dog’s food in the cupboard.
